Original Sacred Music
This is a Contata to ease the soul. It addresses in both words and music, the time directly following the Crucifiction of Jesus, The Christ, including the gift to us of the Holy Spirit, who is to be our Comforter.
It is hoped that if you come into the Service of Cantata, tired and stressed that you will leave to go home joyous and uplifted.
This Cantata includes nine musical pieces, including "We Are Witnesses" and "He Still Cares For Me". There are parts for a narrator...or not. It is thoughtful music, to be sung with emotion. The suggested musicans might be pianist, guitarist, trumpeter, crystal bowl player and flutist. The singers would be a double quartet, assorted soloists(some of the music lends itself to solo work) and a childrens' choir. Although this work is copyrighted, I would expect that you buy one copy only, copy it for your needs only, do not sell it or share it with other choirs. What I would ask you to do would be to get back to me with a rendition of the contata as you interpreted it. If the performance is on the Eastern seaboard, it would give me much pleasure to attend and experience it with you. This is a bare-bones copy...just as I received it. I hope you love it as much as I do.
