CJ Hoffman Musings: Inspiring Paintings, Children Books, Cookbooks

Luna, my Muse is now in charge! Our site will have a new and different way of presenting my arts from this time forward and she will know just the right way to connect with all of you who arrive at my site. Since we last updated our progress with the talents that were given me, my painting has taken a decidedly different tach to the more abstact, my music has been put on hold for the short term and I have written and published two self-help books. The first one is collection of twenty stories, written to be read one a day for twenty days. A major theme to meditate on for the day is included at the conclusion of each chapter, and the title of this book is "The Joy Reminder." The second book in the series deals with meditation and how to accomplish it. This book, "Inside the Honey Walls", is a collection of twelve stories, twelve meditations and twelve afterthoughts. The third and final book in the series highlights confirmations, those thoughts that continually flit through our minds. The title of this one is "An Elegant Echo" and is being written as I write this to you. A fun "Cookie Book" is also in the works. I had planned to write it just for my family, but since you all seem like family if you would like to purchase this small cookbook for the Christmas Holidays, please contact me through my email. I am indulging myself by doing some photography and have some photo note cards left in stock for you. Charity Art Shows are a passion of mine and we got together, some Artist, Writer, Musician friends of mine, and had a show in my home studio on Mother's Day, 2008. We raised $1600.00 in just a Sunday Afternoon for the Women's and Children's Shelter at Bethesda Mission in Harrisburg, PA. Any of you artsy people out there who want to join us next time, contact me. Remember, every little bit that you can help others will help you in the long run, plus you will have another opportunity to sell your art. My planned CD of lullabys for seniors is due to be recorded as soon as I am pleased with my voice, which I hope is soon. As you can see, I am traveling in many directions as usual and filling my life with the love and joy that we all can attain with a little help from our source. I hope you enjoy the show!
