I've been an artist for many years, taking time off to raise my children and then to change my lifestyle after a divorce. But in the last three years, my painting has morphed to the more abstract. From time to time over the years, my art has changed a bit, however, this is more than a 'bit'. I still paint my beloved human form, and the out-of-doors (including beach and garden) but they will all be simpler in form and substance. Beauty is still a requisite for my art and you will find no 'slash and burn' type art on this site, but you will find lovely, colorful forms, majestic mountains and Eden-like flowers. **
I am continuing my work on a Sacred cantata, "Ezekial" (See the Music portion of the site).
My writing has taken up a lot of my time in the past four years, as I always have some book brewing in the back of my mind.
I'm doing more digital photography...but I still enjoy the old 30 mm Nikon.
I'm trying desparately to get back to playing the guitar and learning the Spanish language. I've had minimal success in both of them, but as you know...I never give up. I hope we are on the same page with that. C. J.
